How we care for your information

Who we are

rXperience curates retreats, gatherings and workplace wellness experiences. It is run by Crystal Boyd from Omaha, Nebraska. We travel to venues across Nebraska, Iowa and the surrounding Midwest, so there is no office address to list. If you have a question about this page, write to hello@rxperience.us.

What you choose to send us

The contact form asks for your name, your email, what you are planning and a note. If you like, you can add a phone number, a preferred date, a rough group size and a budget range. We also see which page you sent it from.

The newsletter sign-up asks for your email address and nothing else.

We use what you send only to reply to you, to plan an experience with you, or to send the updates you signed up for. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Please leave health or medical details out of the form. If an experience needs that kind of information, we will ask for it separately and explain how it is kept.

Where it is kept

This website is built and hosted on Ploy. When you send a form, your answers are stored in our Ploy account, and Ploy emails a copy to hello@rxperience.us so we can reply. If you write to us directly, your email stays in that inbox. Only rXperience, and the designer who looks after this website, can open them.

What the website notices on its own

Ploy includes a simple visitor count on every page, so we can see which pages are read and whether the site is working well. It notes:

• the page you are on, and the page that sent you here
• your browser, its language, and the size of your screen
• how far down a page you scroll, and which buttons and outside links you click
• that a form was started or sent, but never what you typed into it

To tell one visit from the next, it keeps a random ID in your browser: a cookie and a stored value named ploy_anon_id, which lasts up to a year, and a visit marker named ploy_session, which runs out after about half an hour. Neither one holds your name or your email.

Ploy's hosting network, Cloudflare, may also set a short security cookie named __cf_bm, for about 30 minutes, to tell people apart from automated traffic.

We do not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics or social media tracking pixels, and nothing on this website follows you to other websites.

Every page you load

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive your IP address and basic browser details when you visit, and may keep them for a short time in routine security logs.

The typefaces on this site come from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser fetches them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details. Google's privacy policy covers that.

Instagram

We link to our Instagram account, but nothing from Instagram loads on this website. If you follow the link, Instagram's own privacy policy applies once you are there.

How long we keep things

Notes from the contact form stay with us for as long as we are planning together, and as part of our ordinary business records after that. Newsletter addresses stay until you ask to leave. Visitor counts are kept by Ploy as part of the site's statistics and are not tied to your name.

Your choices

• Leave the newsletter at any time. Write to hello@rxperience.us and we will take you off the list.
• Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Write to the same address and we will reply within 30 days.
• Clear or block cookies in your browser settings. This website works the same without them.

Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your information. We will honour any reasonable request, wherever you are.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, let us know and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If what this website collects changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
